March 2010
We had a very successful trip to the Burham Festival in Australia.
If we weren't laughing we were enjoying the great sounds of many artistes. There is two venues in a very large R.S.L. club that artists perform in. One holds over 300 people and the main one holds well over 800. So we really got a buzz from it.
They had many well known artists over the 9 days
including Stepen R Cheney, Don Coster of the Coster Brothers, Dwayne Elix,
Barbara Thompson, George Farnham, Peter Horan, Olive Bice to name a few and
of course ourselves (LOL). We did 27 shows in 9 days so it was really full on. Barb backed an Aborigine artiste twice so that was a great honour for her. We had four others from New Zealand supporting us and they had a ball. They were Debbie and Ron Morrison and their Aunty Anna and Wyn Mason who joined us now and again on her Wash Board. The last night of the 9 day Festival they had a Grand Finale which Barb bought the house down with a comedy act that she still gets requests for even though it's over 20 years ago since she first performed it.

Barb & Ross
Well here goes...
Barb & Ross started off in the early 1980s and entered many talent quests and festivals winning solos, duo's and instrumentals.
